Micro-Surface Finishing Products

Material: Discs are made using the same cloth backed, cushioned, ultra-flexible MICRO-MESH.™
The material can be used wet or dry. For larger jobs you will want to use a random orbital sander and MICRO-MESH™ discs.                                                              

SiC Primary Use:  For finishing plastics, acrylics, polycarbonates, bakelite, fibreglass, gelcoat, urethanes, marble celluloid, lacquers, fibreglass, cast polymers, soft woods, cultured coatings, composites & more.

Aluminium Oxide Primary Use:  Aluminum polishing, solid surface countertop finishing such as Corian & Avonite.

Material: Silicon Carbide, cloth backed. Micro-Mesh™ Regular, Grades 1500 thru 12000.

Application: For softer wood, plastic & paint.

Ultra flexible, cushioned, re-usuable & long lasting.

Micro-Mesh Variety Pack also available with one sheet of each grit.

Material: These premium pads are made from the finest natural shearling lamb hides available.

Application: Engineered to repair clearcoat finishes.

This pad is durable, dense & has less shedding so less contamination.

Tufbuf are washable & reusable & have a loop backing for easy on & off attachment to the BackUp Pad.

Micro-Gloss Liquid Abrasive, Type 1 Cleaner & Polish
Micro-Gloss® Liquid Abrasive is one of the most versatile products you will ever use!  This very concentrated formulation is used as the final step of the finishing  procedures to not only remove any residual fine surface scratches, but to also polish to a high gloss.Being a water-base formulation, Micro-Gloss® is environmentally safe and friendly. This product contains a 1 micron abrasive crystal that works to remove fine damage.  
Application: Most cleaners and polishes contain products that can damage surfaces over time. Micro-Gloss® does not! Micro-Gloss® can be used on any plastic, wood, coatings, metal, and composite surfaces to give it that ultra smooth and shiny mirror finish.

Micro-Gloss #5/Type II Cleaner
Micro-Gloss® #5 Liquid Abrasive is a stronger formulation than the standard, 1 micron Micro-Gloss®.  #5 is approved as a Type II polish for aircraft canopies & will remove a 9 micron scratch.  After using #5, follow this by using the standard Micro-Gloss for a crystal clear finish. Micro-Gloss® #5 is a waterbase formulation & is environmentally safe. This concentrated cream does not cover damage or fill in damage - it removes it! Most cleaners & polishes contain products that can damage surfaces over time, #5 does not!

Micro-Finish Polish
A premium Micro-Surface polish used as a final step to remove residual haze on coatings, paint or plastics. Simply buff on by hand using soft cotton flannel to give your painted or urethane finishes that "wet" glossy look.  Use this polish with confidence, contains no hazardous chemicals that could harm surfaces over time.

Final Finish
This exceptional vinyl conditioner is made up of high quality carnuba wax and our specialized abrasives.  It will clean, condition, & polish your vinyl bimini curtains & any isinglass or convertible top windows. Vinyl surfaces will appear brighter, clearer & become more supple with use - definitely a must have!

Anti-Static Cream
Use Anti-Static Cream to keep your transparencies looking new by reducing the static cling of dirt and debris to freshly reconditioned plastics. This protectant cream provides better overall coverage & is more effective than aerosol products.

This kit features 1/4" wide Micro-Mesh Regular belts & a spring loaded polishing tool that will allow you to finish & touch up intricate, small areas.

The tool allows you to keep a flat surface edge & helps attain maximum life of the belt by allowing you to rotate and index the abrasive only as needed.

Application: Use on plastics, wood, coatings, precious metals, fiberglass and more.                                           

Material: Soft touch pads are made of 2 micro mesh sheets laminated to a 3/16" foam centre. They are long lasting & easily conform to a convex or concave surface.

Application: If you've got a fairly new solid surface counter top/sink & only several spots of damage, we suggest using the Counter top Repair Kit for spot repair removal.

This kit will allow you to remove the damage and then restore the amount of luster to match the original surface finish by feathering and blending.

Material: This kit features a cushioned abrasive in Soft Touch Pad form. These pads are double sided with the same grade and are easy to handle and conform
around curved areas.

Application: Designed to be used on small areas. It's perfect for model making, pen makers, porcelain restoring, decoupage, wood working and much more! Also included are a variety of handi files for removing blemishes, oxidation and polishing hard to reach metal surfaces.

Material: MICRO-MESH™ Handi-files are specialized tools used in manufacturing and in the metal finishing and wood finishing industries for de burring.

Application: These files allow the user to finish small, contoured areas where you normally could not reach. Using a utility knife, you can easily tailor shape them to suit your customized application.  Use these 5/8" wide x 5 3/4" long files by hand to smooth jagged edges, protrusions and raised particles from hard surfaces.  They are re-useable and last a long time. For softer surfaces try our MICRO-MESH™ swabs.

Application: This is a handy multi-purpose kit that can be used on wood, plastic, metal and painted surfaces to remove defects and polish to a high lustre.
